Cultivating Beauty
Gardening & Horticulture
The Horticulture Committee aims to foster the knowledge and love of gardening, to promote plants of use and beauty and to conserve those at risk. This Committee supports our Club effort to expand members knowledge and to educate communities in responsible ways, using sound Horticultural practices. We promote planting, propagating, growing and sharing diverse plants, and especially to value local native plants.
The Horticulture Committee consists of members with these interests and volunteer to support Horticultural efforts. Committee work is achieved mainly by discussions during the Club monthly meetings to reflect ongoing seasonal garden activity. Occasional Committee meetings are arranged for planning committee activities, workshops, and the annual Zone III flower show participation.
